Engineering work over Easter

Most of our lines are open during the Easter weekend but Network Rail is carrying out engineering work on some parts of our route. 

Buses will replace trains between Lewisham and Sidcup from Friday to Monday. There are also a number of other routes where trains will be replaced by buses on Easter Sunday. Full details are set out in the table below.

On Good Friday and Easter Monday, we will be operating a Saturday service.

Saturday service. No trains via Denmark Hill.

Accessible buses replace trains between:

Easter Sunday 31 March

Sunday service. No trains via Denmark Hill, Faversham, Sidcup, or Borough Green and Wrotham.
No trains will call at Charing Cross or Waterloo East until approximately 09.30. Passengers can use the London Underground between Southeastern terminals at no extra cost.

Accessible buses replace trains between:

  • Lewisham and Dartford, via Sidcup
  • Sittingbourne and Herne Bay
  • Sittingbourne and Canterbury East
  • Canterbury East and Dover
  • Sevenoaks and Maidstone East

Bank Holiday Monday 1 April

Saturday service. No trains via Denmark Hill.

Accessible buses replace trains between:

  • Lewisham and Sidcup
