    Kids for a Quid

    Enjoy great family days out with our Kids for a Quid ticket. Buy 1 adult ticket and travel with up to 4 kids aged 5-15 for just £1 each on off-peak Southeastern services. Under 5's go free! You can buy Kids for a Quid online, via our app, a station ticket office or our ticket machines. Not valid for journeys wholly within the London Zones 1-9 area.

    Advance tickets

    Our Advance tickets offer great savings and are available as single tickets at specific times and on selected routes. You can mix and match Advance tickets and times to suit you. If you’re making a return journey, you will need to buy a ticket for each direction. You can buy Advance tickets online, via our app, from a station ticket office or at our ticket machines.

    GroupSave

    Save on train tickets and do more with your friends and family with our GroupSave tickets. Save up to 1/3 on the price of individual adult tickets when groups of 3-9 adults travel together Off-Peak. To get the GroupSave discount, you can buy tickets online, via our app, from a station ticket office or at our ticket machines.

    Off-Peak tickets

    Off-peak tickets offer great value for money and are available at quieter times to travel. Plus, on weekdays there are no evening peak restrictions, so you don’t need to keep an eye on the clock whilst you’re out and about. You can buy Off-Peak tickets online, via our app, from a station ticket office or at our ticket machines.

    Railcards

    You can get at least a third off standard train fares with a railcard, saving you money on your commute, day trip, city break or staycation. You can buy most Railcards online and some are available to buy from our station ticket offices.

    Weekender

    Get away for the weekend and save money on train travel with our Weekender ticket giving you flexibility to travel to your destination on a Friday or Saturday and return Saturday, Sunday or on a Bank Holiday Monday. Plus, you can get an extra discount if you have a Railcard! You can buy Weekender Tickets online, via our app, from a station ticket office or at our ticket machines.

    Kent Rover

    If you’re planning a trip around the Garden of England, our Kent Rover could be the right ticket for you. Get up to three consecutive days of unlimited Off-Peak train travel with our Kent Rover ticket. You can buy Kent Rover tickets online, or at a station ticket office.
    group travel

    Group travel

    If you’re planning to travel in a group of 10 or more people, you could save with our Group Travel discounts and get 34% off when you travel off-peak.

    Ways to pay

    Avoid booking and credit card fees when you book direct with Southeastern. You can buy tickets online or through the Southeastern app, at a ticket office or at a ticket machine.
    • Up to four children (aged 5 to 15 inclusive) can travel with each adult.
    • Unaccompanied children must pay the normal child fare, which is 50% of the adult fare.
    • Valid at Off-Peak times only (no restrictions at weekends and public holidays).
    • Only valid on Southeastern services.
    • Not valid for journeys wholly within the London Zones 1-9 area.
    • Kids for a quid only applies to journeys where Southeastern are responsible for setting the fare.

    Which adult tickets can be used?

    • The adult ticket used must be valid for the journey being made.
    • Valid with Off-Peak, Super Off-Peak, Season Tickets and Advance fares.
    • Railcard discounts can be used for the adult tickets however these discounts cannot be applied to the flat-rate £1 child fare.
    • Not valid in conjunction with all our special promotion tickets.

    Where can you buy tickets?

    You can buy tickets in advance or immediately before travel. They are available from our ticket offices or online – but not from our ticket vending machines.

    If purchasing with a Season Ticket, this must be at the ticket office.

    All the other usual National Rail terms and conditions apply.
