Blackheath

Blackheath Common neighbours Greenwich Park and makes for a great picnic spot. Don’t miss the Farmer’s Market on Sunday’s where you’ll find artisanal food and drink, local and organic produce.

Blackheath is 15 minutes from London Bridge and less than 30 minutes from London Victoria.

Broadstairs

This charming seaside destination is a great spot for a day out. Surf, swim and relax on the sandy beach with an ice cream in-hand. Not forgetting to finish the day with fish and chips!

High speed trains from St Pancras International take 1 hour 21 minutes.

Canterbury

An enchanting city through which the River Stour flows, with narrow, cobbled streets and an historic cathedral. Plus, plenty of independent cafes and restaurants to enjoy.

Canterbury West is on the high speed line, just 51 minutes from St Pancras International.

Covent Garden

Head into the city and explore this iconic open-air destination, full of places to eat, drink and shop. There are plenty of museums and theatres to visit nearby too.

Covent Garden is just a 10-minute walk from Charing Cross station.

Folkestone

Creative Folkestone's historic old town and harbour areas are brimming with places to stop for food and drink and is home to the UK's largest outdoor contemporary art exhibition.

Folkestone Central and Folkestone West stations are on the high speed line from St Pancras International, taking just under 1 hour.

Hastings

Explore the history of this old fishing town and the ruins of the ancient Norman castle. Wander the cobbled streets and get a culture fix at Hastings Contemporary art gallery.

Hastings is under 2 hours from Charing Cross station.

Otford

This picturesque village sits at the foot of the North Downs so there are plenty of stunning countryside views, plus lovely independent shops and pubs to relax in. Don’t miss the quirky duck pond roundabout!

Otford is just 30 minutes from London.

Rochester

Take in views over the River Medway and discover the history of this town which captured the imagination of Charles Dickens.

High speed trains from St Pancras International take under 40 minutes.

Travel off-peak Monday to Friday for great value fares and quieter trains

It’s so easy to explore new places and things to do by train. Whether you’re visiting family, heading out to one of the many attractions and events, or looking to discover new sights with old friends, you won’t need to worry about finding (or paying) for a space to park and it’s better for the environment. On the way home you can relax and unwind after an exciting adventure.

Our Off-Peak train tickets offer great value for money and are available at quieter times to travel. Plus, on weekdays there are no evening peak restrictions, so you don’t need to keep an eye on the clock while you’re out and about!

An adult can travel with up to 4 kids (aged 5-15) for just £1 each on off-peak Southeastern services. Under 5’s go free!
