Book with Confidence
Our ‘Book with Confidence’ policy runs up until 30 September 2022 which means if your plans change you can amend your Advance ticket to a different date/time fee-free. This is available for travel up to 30 September 2022. However, your new booking can be for travel beyond this date.
If you change your booking before 6pm the day before you travel, it will be fee-free, but you do need to stick to the same departure and arrival stations.
If you make any changes after 6pm the day before you travel, there will be a £10 admin fee.
Please note, if there is a difference between the price of your original Advance ticket and the cost of your new Advance ticket, you will need to pay the difference. If you change to a train on which a cheaper fare is available, the difference will not be refunded.
You can change your Advance ticket(s) in a number of easy ways:
- If you purchased your Advance ticket(s) through your Southeastern online account, you can log in and amend the date and time on your Advance ticket(s).
- If you purchased your Advance ticket(s) online and you don’t have a Southeastern account , you’ll need to visit a ticket office and ask for the changes to be made.
- If you purchased your Advance ticket(s) at a Southeastern station, take your ticket(s) back to a station and request your changes.
Don’t forget, that changes must be made, and can only be accepted, by 6pm the day before travel.
Please note, Advance ticket bookings purchased via PayPal are non-amendable online. Please visit a Southeastern ticket office to amend.
If you don’t know the date and time you’d like to change your ticket to, you can apply for an eVoucher to the value of your original Advance ticket up to 6pm the day before you travel, and buy your new ticket at a later date. eVouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Follow these easy steps:
- If you’ve purchased your ticket(s) online and your ticket hasn’t been printed/collected, go to our contact us page and fill in the online form, quoting your order/collection reference number.
- If you’ve purchased your ticket(s) online and your ticket(s) has been printed/collected, please post them to our Customer Services team at the address below:
