Highspeed trains

We run the UK’s only high speed train line. Our Javelin trains travel at high speeds up to 140mph calling at many stations across Kent - including Canterbury, Margate, Ramsgate, Dover, Whitstable and Folkestone. So you can get where you need to be, faster.

The City Beam

Our City Beam trains are lighter, with open, accessible interiors including two wheelchair spaces every five carriages, plus bigger windows flooding the train with light. They’re also fresher, with airconditioned carriages, improved heating and ventilation.

The Elizabeth Line

The Elizabeth line is London's newest railway. It stretches more than 100km from Reading and Heathrow in the west, through central tunnels across to Shenfield and Abbey Wood in the east. With Southeastern connections at Abbey Wood and Woolwich Arsenal, journey times across the capital will be slashed. The journey time from Abbey Wood to Paddington has been halved to just 29 minutes.
