Lines have now reopened following heavy rain flooding the railway at Hildenborough earlier today.
As service returns to normal, trains running between Sevenoaks and Tonbridge may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 10 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 18:00.
What's happened?
We had received reports of flooding on the railway at Hildenborough. Initially the line was blocked; however staff have attended and, after a 5MPH speed restriction was imposed, have determined the line is now safe for the normal running of trains.
Unfortunately the flooding has caused a signalling fault affecting services towards Tonbridge; drivers are having to stop at a signal and speak with the signaller to gain authority to pass the signal. This will delay services by up to 10 minutes.
How does this affect my journey?
Services running between London and Tonbridge may be delayed, altered or cancelled.
What should I do?
Allow extra time to make your journey and for up to date travel information check our Live Departures.
