Route Disruption

Train services will run to our autumn timetable from Sunday 11 October until Saturday 12 December.

There are some changes to train times compared to our May timetable, with some trains departing stations between 1 and 7 minutes earlier and arriving at their destination a few minutes later.

On our London Victoria to Orpington route, amended stopping patterns will be in place during this period affecting the following stations:
- Kent House
- Penge East
- Sydenham Hill
- West Dulwich
If you travel on this route, please check before you travel as your journey may be different to usual.

Engineering work for Today

Amended late night / early morning Southeastern services between Monday 28 September and Friday 2 October

Routes affected:
Various Southeastern routes

Engineering work is taking place overnight at various locations on the Southeastern network, closing some lines.

Monday only:

From 22:45 until the end of service, accessible buses replace trains between Tonbridge and Wadhurst / Hastings.

Monday to Thursday:

The 22:37 Tonbridge to Gillingham service will only run between Tonbridge and Strood. You should change at Strood for alternative trains to Gillingham.

The 23:50 London St Pancras International to Faversham service will be replaced by accessible buses between:

Ebbsfleet International and Gillingham calling at all stations except Higham
Gillingham and Faversham calling at Rainham (Kent) and Sittingbourne

Tuesday only:

From 23:40 until the end of service accessible buses replace trains between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings and will run between:

Tunbridge Wells and Hastings calling at Wadhurst, Battle, West St Leonards and St Leonards Warrior Square
Tunbridge Wells and Robertsbridge (calling at all stations)
Battle and Crowhurst* (mini bus shuttle)

Tuesday to Friday:

The 00:25 London Victoria to Ashford International service will be diverted and run non stop from Bromley South to Ashford International. If you are travelling to stations between Swanley and Ashford International, please use the 00:40 London Victoria to Rochester / Sole Street service and change at Swanley for the replacement bus service.

Accessible buses will run between:

Swanley and Maidstone East calling at all stations except Kemsing and East Malling
Maidstone East and Ashford calling at Bearsted and Lenham
A minibus will run between West Malling and East Malling*

Tuesday to Friday:

The 04:17 Gillingham to Tonbridge service will start from Strood at 04:30. A replacement bus will leave Gillingham at 03:55 calling at all stations to Strood.

Tuesday, Thursday and Friday:

From 00:25 until the end of service, accessible buses replace trains between Meopham and Gillingham (Kent) / Faversham. A connecting train will run from Faversham to Ramsgate. The Accessible replacement buses will not serve Teynham, a minibus will run between Sittingbourne and Teynham. *If you are travelling to or from Teynham and have additional assistance requirements, you should contact the Southeastern accessible travel team, send #Assist to 07866 002960 on WhatsApp or use the help point at the station so Southeastern can ensure appropriate transport is available for you.

Wednesday only:

From 00:30 until the end of service, accessible buses replace trains between Rochester and Gillingham (Kent) / Faversham. A connecting train will run from Faversham to Ramsgate. The accessible replacement buses will not serve Teynham, a minibus will run between Sittingbourne and Teynham* *If you are travelling to or from Teynham and have additional assistance requirements you should contact the Southeastern accessible travel team, send #Assist to 07866 002960 on WhatsApp or use the help point at the station so Southeastern can ensure appropriate transport is available for you.

Wednesday to Friday:

From 00:15 until the end of service, accessible buses replace trains between Lewisham and Dartford / Gravesend via Bexleyheath / Woolwich Arsenal. Trains will be diverted to run via Sidcup instead.

Wednesday and Thursday:

The 23:07 London St Pancras International to Ramsgate via Dover Priory service will be replaced by an accessible bus between Dover Priory and Ramsgate, calling at all stations except Thanet Parkway.

Bat & Ball: Ticket Vending Machine problem

The ticket vending machines are out of order at Bat & Ball station.
Bexleyheath: Toilets out of order

The Gentlemen's toilets at the station are out of order at Bexleyheath station.
Chislehurst: Toilets out of order

The Ladies toilets are out of order at Chislehurst station.
Faversham: Lifts out of order

The lifts will be out of order between Car Park and station subway from 06:20 on 20/01/2026 until further notice at Faversham station.
Additional Information:
Step free access is unaffected. Please use Station Road entrance
Gravesend: Lifts out of order

The lifts will be out of order between platform 1 and station overbridge from 08:12 on 17/09/2026 until further notice at Gravesend station.
Additional Information:
Please speak to staff for further assistance.
Maidstone West: Toilets out of order

The Gentlemen's toilets at the station are out of order at Maidstone West station.
Sevenoaks: Lifts out of order

The lifts will be out of order between station footbridge and platforms 1 & 2 from 09:59 on 01/07/2026 until 23:59 on 01/12/2026 at Sevenoaks station.
Additional Information:
Please note there is no 'Step Free Access' for any services heading towards London
The nearest 'Step Free Access' for London Bound Services will be Hildenborough
There is still step-free access available for Thameslink services to Central London
Shortlands Facilities: Various changes

At Shortlands station, the following issues have been reported:
Step free access will be unavailable from the station from now until further notice.
The lifts will be out of order between the platforms and station exit from now until further notice.
Stonegate: Ticket Vending Machine problem

The ticket vending machines are out of order at Stonegate station.

Additional ticket acceptance if your train is cancelled

If your Southeastern train is cancelled, you can use your existing ticket on an alternative train within two hours of your original travel time. This includes services operated by other participating train companies, as well as Southeastern highspeed services.

You can travel on an alternative service up to two hours before or up to two hours after your cancelled train's scheduled departure time.

This flexibility applies to cancelled services only and does not apply to delayed trains.
