The emergency services have completed their work following a person being hit by a train between Faversham and Rainham. This has allowed all lines between these stations to reopen.
Trains running between these stations may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised whilst service recovers.
Major disruption is expected until the end of the day.

What's happened?
The line has reopened between Faversham and Rainham following a person being hit by a train earlier today. Unfortunately, because trains and crew are not in the correct positions, services will remain disrupted for the rest of the day.
How does this affect my journey?
Services through the Medway Towns may still be diverted, cancelled and delayed as we work to get services back to normal time, but we are expecting services to be subject to disruption until the end of service.
There will be no more trains from Dover towards Faversham this evening.

Because of engineering work, on Sunday 17 November there will be no trains to or from London Cannon Street. Accessible replacement buses will also replace trains between Lewisham and Dartford via New Cross, Greenwich and Woolwich.

Between London St Pancras International and Faversham / Ramsgate, between London Victoria and Ashford International, between London Charing Cross / London Cannon Street and Maidstone East, between Lewisham and Gravesend, between Beckenham Junction and Orpington, between Orpington and Sevenoaks, between Gillingham and Faversham, between Sittingbourne and Sheerness-on-Sea, between Tonbridge and Wadhurst / Hastings, between Tunbridge Wells and Robertsbridge / Hastings, between Battle and Crowhurst, and also between Maidstone East and Ashford International.
Engineering work is taking place across the Southeastern network, closing various lines.
The following services are affected:
Monday
From 22:45 until the end of service, buses will replace train services between Tonbridge and Wadhurst / Hastings.
Monday, Wednesday and Thursday
From 23:20 until the end of service, buses will replace train services between Sittingbourne and Sheerness-on-Sea.
The 23:20 and 23:50 London St Pancras International to Faversham services will be replaced by buses between Ebbsfleet International, Gillingham and Faversham calling at all stations except Higham, Newington and Teynham.
From 23:45 until the end of service, buses will replace train services between Gillingham and Faversham calling at all stations except Teynham. A minibus service will operate between Sittingbourne and Teynham.
Monday to Thursday
From 23:15 until the end of service, buses will replace train services between Maidstone East and Ashford International. Additionally:
From 23:55 until the end of service, buses will replace train services between Beckenham Junction and Orpington calling at all stations.
Tuesday
From 23:40 until the end of service, buses will replace train services between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings and will run between:
Tuesday to Friday
From 00:15 until the end of service, buses will replace train services between Lewisham and Gravesend via Sidcup. Trains will be diverted via an alternative route and call additionally at all stations between Lewisham and Dartford via Bexleyheath.
From 00:30 until the end of service, trains to Orpington and Sevenoaks will not stop at Lewisham. A replacement bus service will operate between London Bridge and Orpington departing at 01:10, calling at Lewisham.
Wednesday and Thursday
The 23:07 London St Pancras International to Ramsgate via Dover service will not call at any stations between Dover and Ramsgate. This service will run an alternative route and call additionally at Faversham, Margate and Broadstairs. A replacement bus service will operate between Dover Priory and Sandwich, calling at all stations.

Engineering work is taking place at various locations on the Southeastern network, closing some lines overnight from Monday to Thursday.
These changes may be subject to further alteration on some days, such as starting earlier, or not taking place at all. Please check your journey using the Journey Planner, and also check other items on our engineering pages for the date of your journey.
Mondays only:
Every Monday night, Network Rail carry out essential maintenance on the lines between Ashford International and Ramsgate via Canterbury West.
From 23:50 until the end of service, buses replace trains between Ashford International and Canterbury West / Ramsgate.
Mondays and Tuesdays:
Every Monday and Tuesday night, Network Rail carry out essential maintenance on the lines to and from London Charing Cross.
There will be no trains at London Charing Cross or London Waterloo East from approximately 23:30 until the end of service.
Trains will run from London Cannon Street instead, and you will need to travel to / from London Cannon Street / London Bridge.
Tuesdays only:
Every Tuesday night, Network Rail carry out essential maintenance on the lines between Faversham and Ramsgate via Margate.
From 23:30 until the end of service, buses replace trains between Faversham and Margate / Ramsgate.
Wednesdays and Thursdays:
Every Wednesday and Thursday night, Network Rail carry out essential maintenance on the lines to / from London Cannon Street.
There will be no trains at London Cannon Street from approximately 23:35 until the end of service.
Trains will run to / from London Charing Cross instead, if you could please make your way to London Bridge for these trains.

At Hildenborough station, the following issues have been reported:

The Gentlemen's toilets are out of order.
The lifts will be out of order between platform 4 and station underpass from now until further notice at Lewisham station.
Additional Information:
This affects services towards Dartford/Gravesend via Bexleyheath, and via Woolwich Arsenal.

The ticket office will be closed from now until the end of the day at Longfield station.
The ticket vending machines are out of order at Martin Mill station.
The ticket office will be closed from now until the end of the day at Newington station.
The ticket office will be closed from now until the end of the day at Northfleet station.
The lifts will be out of order between Platforms 1+2 and the overbridge from now until further notice at Orpington station.
The lifts will be out of order between Platform 3/4 and Station entance from now until further notice at Orpington station.
