Here's a summary of the services that we'll be running over the festive period.
Christmas Day & Boxing Day (26 December): No Southeastern trains will be running
Friday 27 December: We'll be running a Saturday timetable, with additional peak-time trains on some routes. Off-peak fares will apply all day except tor Travelcards and journeys wholly within the London Travelcard zones.
Saturday 28 December: Our normal Saturday timetable will be running, except on the following route where engineering work is taking place and buses replace trains between:
Sunday 29 December: Our normal Sunday timetable will be running, except on the following route where engineering work is taking place and buses replace trains between:
Monday 30 December: We'll be running a Saturday timetable, with additional peak-time trains on some routes. Off-peak fares will apply all day except tor Travelcards and journeys wholly within the London Travelcard zones.
New Years Eve - Tuesday 31 December: We'll be running a Saturday timetable, with additional peak-time trains on some routes. Additional late night trains will run from Charing Cross, Victoria and London Bridge after midnight, however Waterloo East station will close at 23:30 Off-peak fares will apply all day except tor Travelcards and journeys wholly within the London Travelcard zones.
New Years Day - Wednesday 1 January: We'll be running a Sunday timetable and off-peak fares will be available all day. Most routes are open, however buses will replace trains between:
Thursday 2 & Friday 3 January: We'll be running a Saturday timetable, with additional peak-time trains on some routes. Normal ticket restrictions will apply.
Saturday 4 January: All routes are open and we'll be running our normal Saturday timetable
Sunday 5 January: Our normal Sunday timetable will be running, except on the following routes where engineering work is taking place and buses replace trains between:

Routes affected:
Various Southeastern routes
Engineering work is taking place at various locations on the Southeastern network, closing some lines overnight from Monday to Thursday.
These changes may be subject to further alteration on some days, such as starting earlier, or not taking place at all. Please check your journey using the Journey Planner, and also check other items on our engineering pages for the date of your journey.
Mondays only:
Every Monday night, Network Rail carry out essential maintenance on the lines between Ashford International and Ramsgate via Canterbury West.
From 23:50 until the end of service, buses replace trains between Ashford International and Canterbury West / Ramsgate.
Mondays and Tuesdays:
Every Monday and Tuesday night, Network Rail carry out essential maintenance on the lines to and from London Charing Cross.
There will be no trains at London Charing Cross or London Waterloo East from approximately 23:30 until the end of service.
Trains will run from London Cannon Street instead, and you will need to travel to / from London Cannon Street / London Bridge.
Tuesdays only:
Every Tuesday night, Network Rail carry out essential maintenance on the lines between Faversham and Ramsgate via Margate.
From 23:30 until the end of service, buses replace trains between Faversham and Margate / Ramsgate.
Wednesdays and Thursdays:
Every Wednesday and Thursday night, Network Rail carry out essential maintenance on the lines to / from London Cannon Street.
There will be no trains at London Cannon Street from approximately 23:35 until the end of service.
Trains will run to / from London Charing Cross instead, if you could please make your way to London Bridge for these trains.

Monday to Thursday:
From 23:00 until the end of service, you can use London Underground between Charing Cross, Embankment, Cannon Street, London Bridge, Southwark and Waterloo at no extra cost.

The ticket vending machines are out of order at Barming station.
The ticket office will be closed from 13:00 on 24/12/2024 until further notice at Bickley station.
The ticket vending machines are out of order at Borough Green & Wrotham station.
The ticket office is closed at Ebbsfleet International station.
Various toilets on platforms 3 and 4 are out of order at Faversham station.

The ticket vending machines are out of order at High Brooms station.
The lifts will be out of order between platform 1 and the station overbridge from 09:38 on 22/12/2024 until further notice at New Eltham station.

The nearest stations with step-free access are Sidcup and Mottingham
