Lines have reopened following a broken down train at Faversham. As services returns to normal, trains running through this station may still be cancelled, revised or delayed by up to 30 minutes.
Disruption is expected until 09:00.

A train had broken down whilst moving from one platform to another at Faversham. The train has now been moved back into a platform at Faversham, unblocking all lines.
How does this affect my journey?
Trains via Faversham may be delayed, altered or cancelled while we work to return the service to normal.

Across the May Day bank holiday we will be running our normal timetable with most routes open.
Network Rail will be undertaking engineering work at London Victoria on Saturday and Sunday, at Tonbridge and on the Woolwich Line on Sunday, and on our route via Beckenham Junction on Monday.
Below is a summary of the works taking place across the weekend.
Saturday 3 May
There are no Southeastern services running to or from London Victoria.
Trains are being diverted to run to and from Charing Cross, Cannon Street or Blackfriars.
To help you complete your journey you may use your ticket at no extra cost on the following routes:
- London Underground: between Victoria, Brixton, Elephant & Castle, Blackfriars, Charing Cross, Embankment, Cannon Street, London Bridge, Southwark and Waterloo.
- Thameslink: between Blackfriars, Bromley South and Sevenoaks.
Sunday 4 May
There are no Southeastern services running to or from London Victoria.
Trains are being diverted to run to and from Charing Cross, Cannon Street or Blackfriars.
To help you complete your journey you may use your ticket at no extra cost on the following routes:
- London Underground: between Victoria, Brixton, Elephant & Castle, Blackfriars, Charing Cross, Embankment, Cannon Street, London Bridge, Southwark and Waterloo
- Thameslink: between Blackfriars, Bromley South and Sevenoaks.
Buses also replace trains between:
- Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells
- Sevenoaks and Paddock Wood
- Lewisham and Dartford via New Cross, Greenwich & Woolwich
Bank Holiday Monday 5th May
We will be running our Saturday timetable and Off-Peak fares apply all day.
Buses replace trains between Denmark Hill and Bromley South via Herne Hill and Beckenham Junction.

Between 00:00-17:00 today, Smartcard services will be temporarily unavailable due to essential maintenance. It will not be possible to view your Key Smartcard account or purchase new tickets for the Key during this time. Any tickets purchased online before 30th April or already loaded to the Key are unaffected. Tickets can still be purchased at the ticket office or ticket vending machine for the Key.

Engineering work is taking place across the Southeastern network, closing various lines.
Monday
From 22:45 until the end of service, accessible buses will replace trains between Tonbridge and Wadhurst / Hastings.
Tuesday
From 23:40 until the end of service, accessible buses will replace trains between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings and will run between:
- Tunbridge Wells and Hastings, calling at Wadhurst, Battle, West St Leonards, and St Leonards Warrior Square
- Tunbridge Wells and Robertsbridge, calling at all stations
- Battle and Crowhurst (minibus)

Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday
From 23:15 until the end of service, accessible buses will replace trains between Beckenham Junction and Orpington, calling at all stations.
From 23:35 until the end of service, accessible buses will replace trains between Maidstone East and Ashford International.
- The 22:25 (on Monday and Wednesday only) and 23:25 London Victoria to Ashford International services will be diverted between Otford and Ashford International, to run via Sevenoaks. Change at Otford for a connecting service to Maidstone East, and the onward replacement bus for stations to Ashford International
- The 00:25 London Victoria to Ashford International service will only run between London Victoria and Maidstone East
- Trains between London Charing Cross / London Cannon Street and Maidstone East will stop additionally at Kemsing, East Malling, and Barming
Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
From 00:10 until the end of service, accessible buses will replace trains between Gillingham and Faversham, calling at all stations except Teynham. An accessible minibus will run between Sittingbourne and Faversham via Teynham. If you are travelling to stations between Faversham and Ramsgate, speak to staff at Faversham who will arrange taxis to your destination.

Tuesday to Friday
From 00:30 until the end of service, trains towards Orpington / Sevenoaks will not stop at Lewisham. An accessible bus will leave London Bridge at 01:10 to Orpington calling at all stations via Lewisham.
Wednesday and Thursday
The 23:07 London St Pancras International to Ramsgate via Dover Priory service will run non-stop between Dover Priory and Ramsgate via an alternative route. An accessible bus will run between Dover Priory and Ramsgate via Sandwich calling at all stations.

Engineering work is taking place at various locations on the Southeastern network, closing some lines overnight from Monday to Thursday.
These changes may be subject to further alteration on some days, such as starting earlier, or not taking place at all. Please check your journey using the Journey Planner, and also check other items on our engineering pages for the date of your journey.
Mondays only:
Every Monday night, Network Rail carry out essential maintenance on the lines between Ashford International and Ramsgate via Canterbury West.
From 23:50 until the end of service, buses replace trains between Ashford International and Canterbury West / Ramsgate.
Mondays and Tuesdays:
Every Monday and Tuesday night, Network Rail carry out essential maintenance on the lines to and from London Charing Cross.
There will be no trains at London Charing Cross or London Waterloo East from approximately 23:30 until the end of service.
Trains will run from London Cannon Street instead, and you will need to travel to / from London Cannon Street / London Bridge.
Tuesdays only:
Every Tuesday night, Network Rail carry out essential maintenance on the lines between Faversham and Ramsgate via Margate.
From 23:30 until the end of service, buses replace trains between Faversham and Margate / Ramsgate.
Wednesdays and Thursdays:
Every Wednesday and Thursday night, Network Rail carry out essential maintenance on the lines to / from London Cannon Street.
There will be no trains at London Cannon Street from approximately 23:35 until the end of service.
Trains will run to / from London Charing Cross instead, if you could please make your way to London Bridge for these trains.

Monday to Thursday only:
From 23:00 until the end of service, you can use London Underground between Charing Cross, Embankment, Cannon Street, London Bridge, Southwark and Waterloo at no extra cost.
