PlusBus explained

PlusBus is a discount price bus pass that you buy with your train ticket. It gives you unlimited bus travel – on participating operators’ services – to and from the train station and in parts of the town the train station serves.

Buying your PlusBus Ticket

You can buy a PlusBus Ticket with most types of rail ticket including single, and day return period return at:

  • Any booking office
  • From a ticket machine
  • Online

You can get PlusBus for the start and / or the end of your journey.

Prices start from £2 a day. Children aged five to 15 pay half the adult PlusBus day ticket price. And you can get 1/3 off your PlusBus Ticket if you have a Railcard.

Where exactly can I use PlusBus?

Each town has a travel zone that covers the whole town centre.  With PlusBus, you can travel as much as you like by bus within this zone.

On the Southeastern network, PlusBus is available for the towns shown in the PlusBus fare leaflet

Season tickets for three months and a year are also available to purchase from ticket offices only.
